About the role:

In your role as a Car Mechanic at Bilbolaget, you will be a key player in the service process and an important part of their workshop team. In this position, you will work both in Bilbolaget's workshop at their facility in Gällivare and in the Bomselet LKAB car workshop, located above ground. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and quality control of various types of vehicles – primarily passenger cars, but also light trucks and motorhomes. With your expertise, you will play a crucial role in creating safe and satisfied customers who are happy to return to Bilbolaget in the future.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics on vehicles.
• Performing service and repair work according to work orders.
• Reviewing and approving work orders before invoicing.
• Conducting follow-up checks and test drives to ensure quality.
• Keeping the workplace organized and contributing to order in common areas.
• Building long-term customer relationships through a professional and positive approach to customers.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday 7-16. Flexible working hours Monday to Thursday may be possible in consultation with your immediate supervisor.

We also expect you to be flexible and open to working both in Bilbolaget's workshop at their facility in Gällivare and in the Bomselet LKAB car workshop, located above ground.

Your profile:

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you:

• Have a relevant automotive technical education and documented experience as a vehicle mechanic.
• Hold a valid B driving license.
• Have a burning interest in automotive technology and service.
• Are meticulous, structured, and quick to grasp new instructions.
• Possess strong administrative and communication skills as well as good computer skills.
